Introduction
The Little Fish Market is passionate about offering fresh, high quality, sustainable foods from the sea. Recently transformed from fishmonger and eatery, to exquisite fish restaurant, The Little Fish Market is owned and managed by Duncan Ray.
Duncan is the sole chef at The Little Fish Market, which he took over in January 2013. Duncan has an exceptional history in fine dining. His work in quality kitchens ranges considerably from the likes of Head Chef of the Latymer Restaurant in the prestigious Pennyhill Park Hotel in Bagshot, Surrey where he gained three AA rosettes, to working alongside Heston Blumenthal at The Fat Duck in Bray.
The Little Fish Market sources fresh fish from the British Isles and uses local ingredients, and suppliers, for all of our dishes and produce. Our menu changes on a daily basis depending on what is in season and what the fishmonger brings to us each morning. We are constantly trying new products recommended to us by our specialist suppliers.
The walls of The Little Fish Market boast a selection of paintings by Brighton based artists. Currently, the works of Colin Eusden line our walls, all of which are for sale.
Please be aware that we are a cash only restaurant, and that because our food is handmade and cooked fresh to order, there may be a short wait at busy times. We have 20 covers in the restaurant so we recommend booking.
