The Khayber Ballymena

The restaurants are named for the historic mountain trade route between Central Asia and South Asia known as the Khyber Pass. With the alternate spelling of Khayber begin an international reference to how the word is pronounced in the local dialect of the region ' which is also the birthplace of the restaurants' founder Mr. Khan (well-known for opening one of Northern Ireland's first and most popular Indian restaurants, The Mogul on Great Victoria Street in Belfast).

Our menu is a diverse mix of dishes from across India, but strongly influenced by North Indian cooking ' especially the Punjab region.

Each dish, with its sophisticated and subtle blend of spices and herbs, is prepared by our award'winning chefs. House specialities include Khayber Special Korma ' a modern korma laced with a choice of liquor, and Khayber Supreme Masala ' lamb and chicken, smothered in rich creamy sauce.

We also offer Tandoori, Balti, Biryani and Tikka dishes all with your choice of chicken, lamb, prawn or vegetable.
