The Independent Physiotherapy Service

The Independent Physiotherapy Service (IPS) has a number of established private physiotherapy clinics throughout Wales and Scotland. All of the physiotherapists are experienced chartered physiotherapists, members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and registered with the Health Professions Council. In order to be members of these governing bodies our physiotherapists have achieved at least a 3 year degree in physiotherapy, but many have gone on to study for 2 more years to achieve a Masters degree in physiotherapy.

All of our physiotherapists are experienced in the treatment of a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions, including sports injuries, occupational injuries, whiplash, repetitive strain, post-operative, sciatica etc. Many of our physiotherapists work closely with elite athletes and professional sports teams.

A variety of treatments are used by the physiotherapists, including ultrasound, interferential therapy, acupuncture, joint manipulation/mobilisation, massage, cosrtisone injections, taping, traction, ergonomic advice and individually tailored exercise programmes.
