Introduction
It’s a new calendar year, and I am exceptionally excited about the potential for The Green Chemical Store’s growth in 2014!It seems the length and severity of cold and ice in north Texas unleashed a new calling for use of liquid deicers. Keeping up with freezing precipitation on medical center helicopter pads posed unique challenges to keep them ice free. Plenty of stories abound!I’ve aligned the Store with the dependable members of SIMA (Snow and Ice Management Association) to learn the proven methods of best practice and formulas for applying liquid deicers. More building operations departments are considering guaranteed solutions for using their own truck mounted spreaders for either granular or liquid deicers. Big new learning curve here.
