Introduction
Having opened back in 2001, The French Table has been serving fine French cuisine for more than a decade from its leafy home in the heart of Surbiton, Surrey. Named The Good Food Guide Readers’ Restaurant of the Year in 2010, it’s the perfect destination for delicious French cooking in a cosy, welcoming setting.
Run by husband and wife team Eric and Sarah Guignard, the restaurant is a relaxed venue for a leisurely lunch, or a special dinner with friends or family. For larger groups, a private dining room can be found on an upper level, available for hire and capable of hosting up to 32 people.
Head Chef Eric’s menu is French / Mediterranean in style, with some dishes also borrowing from Italian and North African cooking. Quality ingredients are of utmost importance to Eric’s food, with local produce sourced wherever possible.
As well as taking charge of the restaurant’s front of house operation, Sarah is the restaurant’s resident sommelier and an expert in pairing the finest wines from around the world with Eric’s mouth-watering food.
