The Footings

The Footings was born when fully qualified chiropodist Julie Astill decided to set up her own private Chiropody and Podiatry practice. She has over 20 years’ experience in the field and is a registered member of the Health and Care Professions Council which ensures that she must comply with regulated standards of training and good practice.

Offering a variety of chiropody and podiatry treatments, from maintaining general foot health and medi-pedicures to orthotics and treatments of corns, toe nails, calluses and verrucas; Julie has built up a strong foundation of frequently returning clients through her excellent service and unrivalled levels of patient care.

She regularly seeks out training to ensure her own professional progression and to learn about the latest techniques and products. She is also a respected member of the British Chiropody and Podiatry Association; the leading body of independent chiropodists and podiatrists in the UK. The professional organisation represents those within the field and works together with it’s members to maintain high standards of patient care across their industry. They also regulate training, new techniques and levels of service.
