Isn't it time for a little "you time"? Time to escape the madness of the world for a while?
Ease away the stresses and strains of modern life with some good honest food from our kitchen, a glass of something to drink from the bar or indeed enjoy a comfortable bed for the night (or longer) in the Inn - all in the hands of a team that care.
But please note: Our food is not pretentious, no balancing carrots here, simply great ingredients (local where possible) prepared with skill and presented with warmth and care at affordable prices.
Everything is "Made @ The Devonshire Arms" - the gravy takes two days not because we are slow but because excellent gravy starts with roasting the bones and needs skill and time. Great classics; Burger, Beef & Ale Pie, Pork Belly and Fish & Chips; are supplemented with an every changing range of seasonal dishes. There are smaller dishes and sharing boards and try and leave room for the delicious homemade puddings! We bid you a Warm Welcome to our home and hope to see you soon.
