The Dartmoor Inn

The Dartmoor Inn is a special place. The cooking is great, the bar is warm, the style, which owes a bit to Sweden and a bit to New England, will make you feel at home. But we don’t just want to offer you a meal and a place to lay your head. We want to give you something special.

Our restaurant is made up of a series of cosy, stylish dining rooms, each with its own identity and we endeavour to make your experience relaxed. The award-winning cooking is based on seasonal ingredients and much work has gone into forging links with local farmers and food artisans to ensure the best raw materials.Lunch will be served from 12.00pm to 2.00pm and Dinner will be served from 7.00pm to 9.00pm.

The small bar has local ales and a log fire - of course. It serves pub classics, Dartmoor Inn style. You’ll find fish and chips with home-made mayonnaise, steak sandwich with onions, rocket and grain mustard, and caramelised rice pudding.

The Inn’s three bedrooms are light, spacious and contemporary country in style. They’re all decorated with beautiful fabrics and furnished with antique and hand-painted furniture from England and France. Each room is completely individual, with its own sitting area, ‘Roberts Revival’ radio, television and en suite bathroom.
