Introduction
Tucked away beside the river in Richmond-upon-Thames, the Bingham is one of London’s most unusual boutique hotels, or ‘restaurant with rooms’: A Georgian townhouse overlooking the Thames, the Bingham is a chic retreat for romantic getaways, a gourmet bolthole for gastronomic experiences, and a unique wedding and events venue.
Each of the Bingham’s 15 bedrooms has been beautifully individually designed, featuring bespoke art deco inspired furniture, sumptuous furnishings and modern comforts.
Shay Cooper and his team, expertly create Modern British Cuisine using the finest locally sourced sustainable ingredients. The dining room is light and airy, with wooden floors, and French Doors opening onto a covered balcony for al fresco summer dining. Service is attentive and knowledgeable led by restaurant manager, James Stilwell.
There is a cheese counter – serving artisan cheeses from local supplier Teddington Cheese, interesting wine list and cocktail bar to enjoy a pre or post dinner aperitif or cocktail.
Our lounge bar welcomes everyone from morning until the wee small hours. Enjoy a range of loose leaf teas and coffees, bar food, a tea guild awarded Afternoon tea, an extensive rage of drinks, wine champagne and delicious seasonal cocktails.
Originally built by Lady Ann Bingham who leased the property in 1821, the room’s elegance is accentuated by French doors leading onto the riverside balcony, a hand blown glass chandelier and contemporary twists including a silver leafed ceiling.
The bar is open till Midnight for everyone and 24 hours for those staying in a bedroom.
