The Big Five Rooibos Company has been a well-reckoned exporter of estate rooibos tea since 1998. The head office is situated on Groenkol Rooibos Tea Estate, near Clanwilliam, in the heartland of rooibos.
The Estate, who produces approximately 200 tons per annum, is the sole supplier of rooibos to the company. The Big Five Rooibos Company is the only single origin rooibos tea marketing company in South Africa. Processing of the rooibos is done on site by Elandsberg Tea Processors, part of the group of companies. By having the whole supply chain on site, consistency, quality and sustainability are guaranteed.
