The Alpine Restaurant

I recently attended a private function in the marquee area of The Alpine. The look of the room was initially quite pleasant until a heavy junk of wood fell from the ceiling of the marquee onto my 4 year old daughters head, leaving her with a considerably large lump. The manager was rude, immediately defensive and never once asked how she was. He could certainly do with brushing up on his social skills.
With regards to the food, it was ok but they really could do with reducing the amount of salt they use, my mouth was sore after eating. And the desert would have been better if the icecream hadn't melted by the time it arrived.

Overall, the dangerous marquee and the rude manager ruined, what could have been, an extremely pleasant evening celebrating with friends.
