Introduction
Nestled close to the centre of the bustling Derbyshire village of Mickleover, our shop opened for business in November 2008 and has become a must visit destination for local Derbyshire people with its unique range of personalised gifts, cards and wrap.
The 100 year old converted cottage is a treasure trove of gorgeous goodies, many of which we personalise using print, embroidery and engraving to make a truly unique gift for our shop and website customers.
As of March 2015 The Alphabet Gift Shop in Mickleover is also home to the Uppercase Tea Rooms. So now our customers can shop then ralax with a specialty tea, artisan coffee and a gorgeous piece of cake or a lovely pot of tea and a home made scone.
The Alphabet Gift Shop collection includes a wide range of stylish gifts for babies and children, gifts for christenings, weddings and birthdays including jewellery, scarves, bags, silver gifts and scented products. We also have a fabulous range of home accessories including soft furnishings, photo frames, clocks, china, candles, linen, books, stationery, gardening gifts and all kinds of decorations.
We have our home designed and produced range of bags, cushions, blankets, aprons and bunting which we sell under the brand name Little Lazy . Alongside Little Lazy we stock gorgeous brands like Jellycat, Toby Tiger, Natures Purest, Terramundi, Kath Kidston, One Button, Bombay Duck, Martine Wester, Danon to name but a few.
Since its opening our shop has been extended twice to make it double its original size and continues to go from strength to strength with the help of a core of valued and loyal customers who enjoy visiting on a regular basis to see the ever changing stock. Our aim is to delight so we hope that we've managed to convey the unique feel of our shop in this website and that you will enjoy your on-line shopping as much as our local customers who visit the shop.
