Introduction
THAI GOLDEN restaurant serves authentic Thai food in Westchester and Putnam County, New York. During the summer, our Thai food is cooked with homegrown garden Thai vegetables and Thai herbs. Our Thai food is always lovingly prepared to heighten your Thai cuisine experience. Dine by the water, with a beautiful view of Lake Gleneida while eating authentic Thai and Asian cuisine in Carmel, New York. In fact, the Thai restaurant's name is inspired by the color of the golden leaves and the golden sunsets that are reflected on Lake Gleneida's blue waves.
Please note THAI GOLDEN is run by my dear retired mother, who seemed to have wanted more than just gardening and chasing after her pets, me, or her grandchildren. She loves food, gardening and people.
My mom, the Thai Golden owner, loves cooking Thai food, growing Thai herbs and vegetables and most of all great discussions with people. This is her labor of love, which she loves to share with you. Come in and be social, meet my mom, hear her stories, or if you prefer Thai Take Out is Available.
THAI GOLDEN serves a classic menu, with traditional Thai cuisine. The rich, exotic and distinctive flavors will appeal to all pepper loving purists, simple fresh flavor loving enthusiasts or diners new to Thai food. Thai cooking and Thai hospitality awaits you in Carmel, New York at my mom's simple high quality, modest priced Thai food haven. Let us open our hearts and world to yours.
Thai Taste Tours, Toodler Thai Taste Offs, Noodles Nights, Curry Challenges, as well as other Thai events are on the rise. We are more than a Thai Restaurant, we are a community, who are willing to pass on our Thai cooking secrets at our Thai Taste Teachings, aka cooking class events.
We can serve any degree of spice to your preferences of basic to classic flavors and/or love of tongue torture. Please indicate your preferences to us. We look forward to seeing you.
