Marek Piorkowski is the CEO and co-founder of Text United, a cloud-based translation platform, which provides a secure, turn-key solution for large companies to organize translation and maintain terminology, and manage their internal and external translation processes in a unified manner.
Marek is a software engineer and a seasoned entrepreneur in the translation industry and his experience ranges from founding translation companies in Central Europe to successfully executing multilingual translation and software localization projects for companies such as Microsoft and SAP. This has given him a deep perspective on the issues that companies face every day when trying to establish or consolidate a global presence.
Marek lives in Vienna, Austria and the only way to lure him away from Text United for a while, is the prospect of skiing in the Alps.
