This is a bigger picture post. Not today, or tomorrow, not 2021 but the next decade (or two) in the equity markets. It’s easy to get sucked into the news and the day-to-day but successful investing happens over time.
Naturally, many investors look back on the last 10 years and think the market has had a nice run. Perhaps its due for a pullback of some kind. I’m not talking about a Covid-19 economic shutdown shock but some good old fashion consolidation. Where equities take a pause.
After all, the markets go up and down. And inevitably some periods will be down. Before Covid, there was a lot of talk that the bull market was “due†to end. But was it really?
