Sylvia Flanagan, MFT

I’m Sylvia Flanagan and have been a licensed therapist for over 10 years and offer individual, couples’ and premarital counseling in a conveniently located Mission Valley office. A sliding scale is offered and I do my best to accommodate a variety of budgets. My approach and style of therapy is to leave my clients feeling respected and comfortable but also feeling challenged. I do my best to find a balance between being too passive or too directive and ultimately want to respect the experiences and circumstances of my clients and listen to the goals they seek to achieve. I have experience and have worked with a variety of issues ranging from depression, anxiety, couples counseling, codependency, life transitions, spiritual issues, LBGT issues, premarital counseling to addiction. If you are thinking you might want to come in for a session, please feel free to call me for a free phone consultation. I would be happy to hear about what you’re looking for to see if we would be a good fit.
