It is only a 18 months since Amanda Gates took over the traditional sweet shop in Ashby-de-la-Zouch but it has certainly been a case of the candy woman can with the little bell over the door in Elford Street barely quiet and the online store going from strength to strength.
The Sweetie Girls in their smart aprons help Amanda invite customers to try new flavours or enjoy something familiar from more than 300 jars lining the walls or to take the winding staircase up to a treasure trove of beautifully ribboned and tagged treats.
We love creating a magical experience, bringing back memories or making new ones and helping people share that in the shop or online– whether it is for an individual gift or for a special occasion, we are sure we can help.

And the tantalising treats don’t stop at candy, there’s indulgence with luxury Chocolate and fun and funky from the Grown Up Chocolate Company, ten flavours of gorgeous handmade fudge, Snugburys Ice Cream, or Yorkshire Crisps.
