Introduction
Stu's Fly Shop is a world famous fly fishing shop based in the small town of Athol in the South Island of New Zealand, 45 minutes drive from Queenstown. It is owned by the fishing legend Stu Tripney, one of the world's best fly fishing guides, creator of Stu's Superior Flies, and is home to the New Zealand Fly Fishing School. On demand courses, single day, or multi day fly fishing camping expeditions can be arranged or you can do a helicopter or jet boat accessed fly fishing backcountry trip. There are over 45 waterways within an hours drive from Stu's Fly Shop in Southland an an area renowned for record trout. Stu is Australasia's first International Federation Of Fly Fishers Certified Master Casting Instructor.
