Introduction
At Stormsvlei we like people to relax and enjoy themselves. As you walk through the old hotel building and bar you are welcomed through the dining room by the beautiful garden. You can sit and relax, enjoy a cup of freshly ground coffee and cake in the morning or maybe eat lunch from our A la Carte menu. In the afternoon take tea and scones while the sun dances through the trees and the birds sing. During winter you can relax in our lounge, next to the blazing fire. Sunday is a lively day at Stormsvlei when our popular Sunday lunch is served. When your belly is full sink in to one of our leather chairs or leather sofas in the lounge or maybe take a walk around the garden.
It is very important to us to support the local community as much as possible and we base many aspects of our menu on locally sourced produce. Meat, coffee, fruit, vegetables, dairy products and poultry are all from local suppliers and our farm stall sells many products that are utillised in creating our menu. For instance if you like the jam you had with your freshly baked scone, then you have an option to buy it in the farm stall and so take away a memento of your visit to Stormsvlei.
