Introduction
With wood burning stoves and a warm welcome, the Stiffkey Red Lion is the perfect place to unwind after a hard day's walking or relaxing on the beautiful beaches of North Norfolk.
Our eco friendly North Norfolk hotel accommodation was opened in May 2008. With its sedum roof it's warm in winter and naturally cool in summer. All rain water is recycled and all room to room insulation is of the highest standard to ensure our guest's tranquility.
We offer ten newly built light and airy bedrooms all with their own bathrooms and thier own front doors and two suites. All the first floor rooms have a spacious balcony with great southerly views over the Stiffkey valley and the hills beyond and ground floor rooms have a terrace and garden area.
The rooms are extremely well equipped and comprise six doubles, three twins and a family double room with a comfortable sofa bed. The Attic Suite and Suite 12 are both recently converted, well appointed and sleep up to five.
The main menu at the Stiffkey Red Lion is changed every few weeks depending on the seasonal availability of ingredients. In addition to the main menu we also have our specials board featuring seven or eight scrumptious dishes, which is changed daily. Our kitchen team prepare all of the dishes using only the finest local ingredients to create our fabulous menu.
