Introduction
Stanford Valley is a working farm with 3 self-catering family cottages, 3 self-catering double rooms and 10 standard doubles. All our bedrooms are en-suite.
We also have 2 function rooms and a main kitchen.
The venue is suitable for a wide variety of function including corporate training and team building, weddings, birthday parties and other celebrations, weekend breaks, yoga retreats, music festivals.
We are about an hour and 45 minutes drive from Cape Town, which is ideal for those wanting a country setting but staying within the 2 hours drive from town. The farm is about 450ha in size, with 100ha under cereal crops and 200ha of fynbos. It offers a magnificent dam for swimming, long walks through the fynbos, horse riding. wagon trails or just plain old fashioned peace and quiet.
The conference centre is designed to cater for up to 30 delegates in a purpose designed space with natural lighting and fitted carpeting throughout. Meals are cooked and served in our 120 year-old Ouhuis with menus designed to suit your purpose. Everyone is catered for from strict vegetarians to sheep on the spit.
