Introduction
My name is Bob Ives, the creator of Splinter Lip Mugs. I have been involved in woodworking for over 50 years. I have built and remodeled homes, barns, built furniture and restored and made horse drawn sleighs. I maintain a large woodworking shop where I have the ability to create and build ideas. The mugs came from thinking about a business that my grandfather, John Hart Toland was involved in, the N&H O'Donnell Cooperage. N&H was a large manufacturer of wooden barrels for distilleries. The use of wood and the shape of the Splinter Lip Mug is a tribute to the past with a twist on the use. Check out my website to see more
