Spiaggia continues to receive prestigious accolades representative of its ongoing pursuit of elegance in fine food and service. In a 2009 article, Wall Street Journal dining critic Raymond Sokolov reaffirmed Spiaggia as one of the country's best Italian restaurants, "Yes, Spiaggia commands our allegiance with its luxury setting, service and raw materials. Perhaps it's impossible to factor out all the special ingredients-the black truffle, the handcrafted pasta, the wild arugula from the chef's garden-and the rest of Spiaggia's wowness."

Spiaggia received the James Beard Foundation nomination for Outstanding Restaurant in America in 2006, 2007 and 2010 and for Outstanding Service in 2008 and 2009.
