Glenn Wellesley
Ski Instructor
The Easy Learning Ski Instructor. For well over a decade Glenn’s ski-teaching career has taken him all over the world, including the USA and New Zealand.
He has been working the French slopes since 2003 and Morzine and Les Gets for 5 years. He has his full BASI (British Association of Snow-sport Instructors) international ski teacher license with full French equivalance.
Glenn learned to ski with his school at the age of 14, in the distinctly non-Alpine plastic ski hills of Bromley Ski Centre near London. It was there that he landed his first job – working as a ski technician and teaching kids to ski. He then went on to work as a holiday ski guide in Italy and Australia which then set him on the path to qualify as a professional ski instructor.
Then came a ski-racing injury, and for some years Glenn didn’t have the strength to ski at race-level using orthodox methods. It was this setback that led him to research the latest techniques in bio mechanics and sports science, to find the easiest and most economic ways to ski.
