Singing Lessons Bath - Beginner or Advanced, or just for fun. Singing is part of what it is to be human. As a voice teacher I want to help people uncover their own unique voice and sing with freedom, confidence and joy.
I trained at Trinity College of Music and at the Royal College of Music where I was awarded the Leverhume Scholarship to study at the International Opera School. I also studied for a year in Milan with Angelo Loforese of Milan Conservatorio. I sang as a soloist all over the world for 24 years, during that time I continued to work and study regularly with teachers and vocal coaches of international reputation.
In the lessons you’ll learn technical skills to strengthen the voice, to improve range, timbre, stamina, relaxation, flexibility, breathing etc. Every voice is unique and needs an individual approach. The teaching is not prescriptive or judgemental – with experimentation, joy, determination and fun there is always progress.
Who is it for?
Everyone! - I teach professionals and people who find it hard to pitch a note, pensioners and children and everyone in between.
If you want to sing for fun, or grades or professionally – great! – all are welcome.
