Joy Basdeo – Joy is owner of Simply Weddings and its primary wedding celebrant. She has more than 20 years of experience as a Wedding Celebrant and has been a Civil Registrar of Marriages since 2007.  She has officiated over 1,300 weddings and hundreds of wedding vow renewals.  Joy is the author of "The Joy of Weddings", a popular cruise and destination wedding blog.  She is also the author of your personalized ceremony, as she works with each couple to include the details that are most meaningful to their wedding, blessing or renewal ceremony.
Simply Weddings are the Wedding Celebrants of choice for residents and visitors of the Cayman Islands. We have performed over 1300 weddings since 2008, yet every couple is special to us, and we work hard to meet all your requirements.

Every wedding & vow renewal ceremony is personalized to suit each individual couple.  Or, we will write a special ceremony to reflect your culture or beliefs.
Every visitor wedding includes the Special Marriage License, Registered Marriage Certificate, Wedding Celebrant & on-site coordinator.
