Introduction
Sherwood Campers are a friendly business based in Boughton, Nottinghamshire and are well known for their camper van conversions. What started off as a hobby has turned into a way of life for us here at Sherwood Campers.
Life with the vans started after my wife and i purchased a badly converted van, which looked ok on the surface, however we quickly discovered it was done with very poor workmanship.
We completely gutted our VW T5 Transporter LWB and after months of research we realised we could do better.
We did our first van and was very excited by the results, and it continued from there, van after van as a hobby. We started getting more and more suppliers on board as we were determined only to fit top market equipment due to our previous poor experience.
We looked at the competition and we were off.
GP T5 Conversions was born.
After a couple of years we moved to a bigger premises and changed our name more relevant to the area which we are located at to this day.
Sherwood Campers was the start of great things. We have grown at a rapid rate and pride ourselves on attention to detail and giving our customers the camper they want. I am a fully qualified plumber/gas engineers by trade and have carried out the relevant training with our suppliers to turn out camper vans second to none.Which I am sure you will agree if we get the opportunity to work with you on your camper van.
