Introduction
I am a self taught artist who was drawn to the medium of photography early in my career. With photography as my backdrop I began working in mixed media in 2010.
Although a large portion of my work features traditional photographic methods, I find that I am increasingly driven to create in mixed media because it represents the diversity of my interests. I like to think that my artwork emerges from the moment, sometimes with a deliberate and conscious meaning and other times as an intuitive and spontaneous expression. At times my work is inspired by the power and beauty of the natural world, and other times by the drama of human competition. I thoroughly enjoy pushing myself to ""see"" beyond what the camera has recorded. Thank you for taking the time to view my work.
