A recent discovery I love, Scandinavian Design is a higher end furniture showroom.  The style is mostly contemporary and timeless classic, carrying many famous pieces like the Alvar Aalto Zebra lounge chair, Stingray rocker and the Wegner Ox chair (on my ultimate wishlist; someday, I'll have you!). The furniture is classic design, high quality make.
The woman on showroom floor was exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful (hard to believe in NYC). She gave me a very good price for a Krypton sofa that I absolutely love. Unfortunately it took 3 months to get it, but worth the wait.

I was looking to get some Danish designed furniture for a client and was recommended to contact Scandinavian Design.
They had everything my client was looking for + more. We were able to purchase a Hans Wegner sofa, as well as table + chairs. They even had the Pernilla chair by Bruno Mathsson that my client has been looking for. The people at SD have been in business for a long time and have a lot of knowledge about what they are selling. Warmly recommended.
