Description: Set in the foothills of the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountain range, the Santa Clara Golf Course in Granada is fast establishing itself as the premier destination for discerning golfers in the Granada Province and beyond.
Situated less than 10 minutes from the fascinating and cultural city of Granada, just half an hour from the Ski resort of Pradallano, less than 40 minutes from the coastal towns of the Costa Tropical, Santa Clara is the perfect setting to combine a visit to any of these locations and still enjoy a round of golf!
The magnificent TPC course itself is in excellent condition all year round and is an interesting course with both wide and narrow fairways, plenty of bunkers, fast moving greens and a lake to add to the challenge of it being one of the longest courses in AndalucÃa. It is perfectly walkable for the fit and healthy but there are plenty of buggies and electric trolleys available for a more relaxing round should you need them.
However, Santa Clara offers more than just a game of golf; the facilities at the Clubhouse include a gymnasium, both indoor and outdoor pools, a fabulous Spa area with Sauna, Steam Room, a large, zoned Jacuzzi plus 4 padel courts and all of these are available for a small fee.
The restaurant at Santa Clara offers a varied menu and from its terrace, a place to relax and enjoy the spectacular views of the snow capped mountains - not to mention a wonderful view the 18th hole.
By way of attracting visiting golfers and thus expanding Granada’s tourist appeal, the course owners and the Granada Tourist Board have come up with a Granada Global Greenfee special offer in which all four of the local courses can be played for just €150. Buggies are also cheaper when booked with this offer and reservations can be made at travel agents, the larger hotels and of course, at Santa Clara.
