STUDIO REY bears the name of its founder, the photographer Jean-Charles Rey, who has 20 years of experience in travelling the length and breadth of the planet in search of instant shots: together with the quality of the subject and the veracity of the moment, his searching eye captures the detail which will denote the difference and the striking force of a photograph.
More than just a searching eye, a team with complementary skills available to match your expectations:
From this experience, Studio Rey was created, an independent structure made up of professionals, each with a varying know-how : photographers and post-production specialists (digital retouching, digital post-production special effects, on-site digital special effects; graphic designers (page-setting, graphic conception, illustrations and management of image data-bases….), traditional “fine art†film or digital image printers, editors…. These professionals in image communications are united in a common project close to the heart of Studios Rey: to listen, to be available and to react. The media and the photojournalism evoke the globalization, the agitated economic and social world of information in any kinds(genres), quite origins, to has very distant horizon.
We think of being capable " of estimating " our environment. The photojournalism is not a boring enumeration likened to photos purely descriptive, slices of life stuck on paper, ordered as simple given accounting(countable) and informative. My photographic approach stains to excite what we have of better in us, as a love relation with our world. My reports photograph do not compose with one Angelism maniac or an easy pessimism; the photographers journalist have to be capable of deciphering the stakes, the relations give a complex of our societies, the photography in what she(it) in of altruistic and extraordinary give us to understand and to like all the humanity with a visual vocabulary sensitive and opened in quite variety cultural.
The Berlin Wall, the fall of the USSR, the apartheid, fights(disputes) to engender a certain shape of justice and peace reminding us that the opposite are paradoxically intimements connected. Appearances must be transcent with difference and caution.... The borders seemed abolished and nevertheless... I little practised the photography of current events, which seemed to me too often

My photos, modest testimony try rather to approach our cultures, to get the interest of a wide public, to fascinate it for discovery of our vast world, such of the travelers immovable, explorers in the trail of the big expeditions which again make me dream! And then the photography the photo report is an infinite field of perspectives, a possible in multiple and so vast roads!
Every photographer journalist, with her particular appropriate sensibility, his(her) talents writes in his(her) way one felt sometimes incandescent, devoid of political or mercantile exgrowth.
The photography is an extraordinary media of the immediate and of eternity, of the short-lived and the eternel... Each of us carries a role determining for an information plural and qualitative. There will be never enough photos, testimonies.

For 20 years I lived in various countries, intense, bright years, constant state of awakening and opening. Grace in the meetings and the exchanges which resulted from it I shared these reports with the press international. My work in always committe and required an implication total.
Quickly " the humanitarian worker urged me on different continents far from the listed routes, in the years lights of any nice and clean shop window, always with an obsession, to be with "them", to share the everyday life of the professionals as populations saddened. Show, retranscribe with loyalty, to seize the fleeting moment which better than 1000 words will evoke this reality.
The photos of a photojournalist are improbable, an inexorable quest of nugget of emotion, the anti thesis of an aesthetic photography was restricted in the accurate.
The photography of report; so many escaped(fleeting) moments from here or moreover seized without distortions, nor illuminations.
This human adventure, in dimension of our so vast world, taxis fright, bus, truck, donkeys, camels and clodhoppers which carried(wore) me every day to go farther, on the meeting of a so generous and rich humanity, r to discover one somewhere else well far from to us … Tuareg of the Saharan desert, Uros of the Andes Cordillera, people Mongh of the mountains of Asia, caste of untouchable Indian … My work and folios presented on my site present extracts of commands centred towards the childhood, the future of the humanity, present the peoples as being a part of each of us. So many faces, so many routes(courses) which cross themselves and overlap, so many fleeting moments from here or moreover proposed without distortions, nor illuminations. Every report is a journey, every journey is a report... None of them is similar! Constructed all around

Cheaper, more celebrity, production cost, reduced, a shareholding eager for profit... We Voila in a plan known which the universe of the photography could not escape!

I fixed a fragment, a plot of land very limited by this so vast world.
The poverty conjugates with the kindness, the simplicity of the glances tells more that the speeches.

To realize me reports, I shared the delicious everyday life of the human beings. I distributed presents, offered postcards, kites, discussed little, many, with words of several mixed languages, with hands also. I taught magic tricks, made jokes, played up scolded sometimes and then finally me kept silent.
