Introduction
We are one of the leading exporters of PET bottle flakes to P.R.China usd for manufacture of PSF. We started our business since July 1991 in the name of ‘Super Lube Services’ (in short SLS). Our firm ‘SLS’ was later incorporated n the name of ‘SLS (PVT) LTD.’ In April 1993 with its Registered office at 24, Station Road, Tejgaon, Dhaka-1215, Bangladesh.
We have exported 612 x 40FT High Cube Containers of PET recyclable bottle flakes and lumps (13,311 MT) earning US$ 9.66 Million (equivalent to 677.44 Million Taka) as on 31.12.2012. Our first export of 2-containers of PET Bottle Flakes were shipped on-board on 01.07.2003.
We got Chinese Government’s AQSIQ Licence No. A050040048, firstly on 01.01.2005 for 3-years, to export PET Flakes & Mill Scales to P.R.China, which has been validated twice in 3-yearly renewal system, now valid up to 31.12.2012.
We had PET Bottle flakes manufacturing and Hot-washing plant set up firstly in Nehalia, Barmi, Sreepur, Gazipur of Bangladesh in April 2008 and later-on transferred to North Dariapur, Boardghar Bazar, Kaliakair, Gazipur, in December 2010. It was subsequently transferred in February 2012 in North Gazirchar, Burir Bazar, Baipail, Ashulia, Savar, Dhaka. We have to relocate at KANCHPUR DAKKHIN PARA, PS-SONARGAON, DIST-NARAYANGONJ-1430. The new location now is 25 KM from our Dhaka office and at the bank of Sitalakhya river at Demra.
Our existing annual production capacity is 2,520mt in cold and hot-washed flakes combined. We have 5 Crushers having total capacity of 1500MT per hourr which comes to about 12mt per day and 300mt per month at 100% efficiency. We can hardly manufacture 210mt per month at 70% efficiency due to chronic power failures (shortage of electricity in Bangladesh at this moment). We are actively planning to setup our own backup electricity generator to boost-up the present production capacity.
