Whilst running in elite competitions at the highest level, Paul won a Bronze at the World Masters Athletics Championships. Then amazingly took 3 Gold Medals at the European Masters Championships, 🥇800m 🥇1500m 🥇10,000m, whilst defeating two World Champions in the process.
This first ( and only ) athlete to win three gold medals at 800m, 1500m and 10,000m at a major championship, resulting in Paul being voted Masters Athlete of The Year 2019, by Athletics Weekly.
