Runagood.com originates from a conviction that people who run businesses are entitled to affordable advice from trustworthy sources. 5 million businesses trust their accountants enough to pay for financial advice but are understandably reluctant to pay unregulated consultants for marketing, operational, systems and people advice, whilst the internet offers them nearly 1 billion confusing pages of varied business advice. This credibility gap was somewhat addressed by Business Link, paid for by government, until late 2012 when the service suddenly closed.

So, in April 2013 runagood.com stepped into this yawning gap with an online and phone based service, supported 24/7 by business experts, to be used free of charge by anyone with a business on a ‘no strings’ basis.

Based on a major national database of small business performance statistics and a mass of performance improvement data gathered through 25 years working with 10,000 businesses, runagood.com’s online software enables any user to compare their business performance, understand the reasons for any underperformance and develop improvement plans for DIY or supported implementation.

So runagood.com has not just replaced Business Link by giving unbiased advice to anyone, anywhere, but gone a big step further with self help tools and (optional) practical implementation support at prices that anyone can afford
