Introduction
We are JoinTheRukkus—the ambassadors of Rukkus.com, if you will—and if there’s one thing we know, it’s live music. Picture a colony of live music junkies based in New York City. That’s us.
Although the term “junkie†is typically used to describe addicts and users… wait, no that’s actually pretty accurate. You see, we have an insatiable appetite for concerts. We’d sleep under a stage and wake up every time an artist came on if it were permissible by law (we checked; it’s not). Consider this blog a way of sharing our love for live music.
In this day and age, there’s so much music out there that it’s almost impossible to keep track of it all. Luckily, since we have no personal lives outside of music, we’re happy to do all the hard work for you. Our writers and photographers scour tons of diverse music scenes across the U.S. to find the best live acts in music today. We strive to provide a wide spectrum of artists and genres, and we’re happy leaving the over-analysis to music critic windbags. This is a happy place.
