Introduction
Rounders' pizza is great - partly because I choose the toppings and have a good thing going and partly because they make a mean pie. Notable entries include fresh garlic, fresh (not pickled) jalapenos and basil.
The Staff is attentive and good looking, parking is a breeze, prices are fair, decor is fun.
Rounders is the real deal super delicious pizza, hilarious wait staff and fair prices. The menu is limited but that's a good thing, simple good pizza with high quality ingredients and fresh garlic beat the hell out of some greasy Domino's that will give you the runs the next day for 7.99.
A retro neon sign welcomes diners to the outdoor patio and seating area at the front of this popular pizza restaurant on West Sixth. The front counter/authentic blackjack table plus a roulette-wheel-themed menu enhance wine-colored walls and soft lighting. Three rooms enable privacy; a fireplace adds coziness. Customers include neighborhood locals. Thin, handmade pizza crusts don't overpower toppings such as sliced meatballs, sweet fennel-infused Italian sausage and kalamata olives. Colorful Caprese salad intermingles tomato and buffalo mozzarella with basil.
Except for quick pickups, don't park in the lot behind the restaurant before 5pm on weekdays. It's only for neighboring daytime businesses.
