I had my Ipad screen fixed here last month, I opted for the better glass which I was assured was the 'best I could get', by the manager, Araz Fazil. I had to take this back immediately because some of the screen was unresponsive to touch. They agreed to replace the screen under the warranty. When I got it back the screen felt better quality and seemed more responsive to touch. This leads me to the suspicions that they initially put the cheaper glass on while charging me for the more expensive.
I also noticed that there was muck UNDER the screen in the centre of the Ipad, I decided not to take my Ipad back as I was working away a lot and didn't have time to sort it.
I use my Ipad in a case and so it was a couple of weeks before realizing there was a crack under the case where my thumb sits. I was confused as I hadn't dropped or been rough so couldn't work out why it had cracked. The only reason it could have cracked was from my thumb while holding it, and this was supposedly the high quality glass?
I returned to the shop and they said the couldn't replace it without me paying again. I questioned them about the first glass they put on, being the cheaper glass, to which they didn't deny doing that.
The Manager, Araz Fazil was very rude, insulting me, swearing, and with his security guard (John Patel) threatening to take me out of the shop by force. They had initially given me a discount (£80 to £65, which I should have been dubious about) and still refused to refund the £65, not even for the muck under the screen, which is completely unconnected to the crack.
If it was broken from dropping it I would understand, but having been so careful I don't understand how the 'best glass I can get' would break from just holding it.
I have had my Ipad for years and never had any cracks or damages before, and yet their glass breaks within weeks just from casual use of it.
Currently contacting Trading Standards about the poor service, and the potential scam. (Equipping cheap glass while charging for higher quality.)
I will certainly not be using them again, and would urge anyone to avoid their services.
After further Research i discovered the was a knocking shop ran by Araz Fazil and his associates that got Shut Down and they turn it into a repair shop to Con Customers easy money con merchants stay clear.
Fazil is the small one with the twisted nose you cant miss him stay clear of the place.
