Introduction
If the original Maroush Restaurant is considered to be the 'father' in this family of restaurants, then Ranoush Edgware Road could be said to be its 'mother'.
Together, these two restaurants formed the backbone of the Maroush name when they opened in 1981, and today they mark the modest beginnings of what was soon to become one of the most successful, well-known Lebanese restaurant chains in London. A fast-food-style eatery with seating for 20, Ranoush Edgware Road remains a cornerstone of the Maroush name, serving favourites like shawarma, fruit cocktail juice, lemonade and traditional Lebanese sweets to queues of guests who can often be seen overflowing from the front doors throughout the day and late into the night.
