I would like to introduce you to our company which encompasses Royal Tara Galway Ltd, White Diamond Toughline Ltd and Islandcraft Ltd.
Royal Tara has been in business for 58 years without interruption and White Diamond has been a Brand of Royal Tara for 15 years and Islandcraft is 7 years in business.
My family own Royal Tara and its subsidiaries and I have been involved as MD of this company for 34 years.
We ceased manufacturing bone China in 2003 and now design everything we Brand here in Galway and outsource manufacture.
We have a turnover of $2 million and we have zero borrowings.
Because we are fully funded we can afford to stock in depth and give a superior service but like all good service it must be well planned.
White Diamond Hotel Porcelain is our brand and we sell to some of the biggest Catering Wholesalers in the UK and Ireland and count Musgraves and the Bunzl group in the Uk among our long standing customers and our products can be found in many quality establishments.
Royal Tara
Manufactured fine Bone China for 50 years and ceased in 2003. Sadly the production of Fine China has moved East and we could not compete. We proudly produced and employed 100 people and on the day we announced closure we had 2400 man /woman years of service on our payroll We now outsource manufacture Royal Tara China and we design other mediums under that brand such as ceramics ,hand painted stained glass and framed Art.
Islandcraft
Is designed by us has a variety of wood products and are sold to 300 retail stores in Ireland and the USA ,Canada,Scotland and Wales as are Royal Tara ranges.
Distributing Brands
We are keen to grow both with our own brands and with other peoples brands and we are prepared to lend our Brand names to Brands we distribute exclusively for other companies.
We know we have a quality and value relationship that is competitive and we know we are well placed to help our customers make a profit on purchases from us.
It is not easy to find the right products to grow a company in this area today but we are sure doing our best to do so through hard work and good systems and staff who are here because they want to be and are happy to serve our partners.
