Introduction
Roost Architects is an exciting new architecture practice based in Ilkley, West Yorkshire. We specialise in domestic and small commercial projects, new build, refurbishment and extensions.
We make sure that creative, innovative design is at the heart of every project we undertake. But great design doesn't necessarily mean expensive design; by taking the time to properly consider your project's requirements, we aim to eradicate unnecessary expenditure, delivering the finished solution on-time and on-budget.
For many clients, working with an architect is a new experience and to this end we regard design as a two way process between you as the client and ourselves as professionals. We will work closely with you to develop your scheme to a point where we can fine tune the design with our associated consultants, always with the goal of delivering exciting, enriching architecture.
who we are//
The practice was founded by myself, Simon Cape (RIBA) and I work with a core team that have extensive experience within the construction industry, from major commercial and educational projects to small, bespoke domestic schemes. We are registered Architects (RIBA), Town Planners (MRTPI) and Architectural Technologists (MCIAT).
We have strategic partnerships with sustainability consultants, interior designers and 3D imaging experts. We work in association with structural engineers, and Building Control, to ensure your project runs smoothly and efficiently.

Simply put, we solve problems! Our services range from drawings only for planning and building regulations approval, to a full architectural service including tendering to contractors and overseeing the project on site.
In every commission that we undertake, we take a very client centric approach, making time fore frequent reviews and feedback. We will guide you through the process, from conception to completion, ensuring that we deliver a completed project that you will love and that we will be proud of
