Introduction
RMI Laser, LLC was established in 1998 to provide cost effective and innovative laser solutions to the industrial, commercial and government markets. Formed initially as the laser R&D group of Rocky Mountain Instrument CO., RMI Laser, LLC has since been spun-off as a stand-alone entity that specializes in the design and manufacture of DPSS laser systems and precision laser marking systems.
At RMI Laser, we ONLY focus on laser marking systems for industrial parts marking applications. It’s all we do!
Laser marking is a highly technical and unique discipline requiring experience, expertise and a dedicated focus. A background in other marking methods (stamping, ink-jet printing, chemical etching) does not automatically make someone an expert in laser marking, nor does having a background in other laser applications (welding, cutting).
For over 15 years, RMI’s sole business and 100% allocation of resources has been dedicated to the design, production and support of the highest quality laser marking systems for precision direct part marking on metals and plastics.
Unlike the competition, we don’t split up our resources by offering cutting, welding, pin stamping or chemical etching solutions. We also don’t offer any CO2 laser marking products since they are not a relevant solution for direct part marking of industrial applications.
The end result is the best performing, most reliable, cost effective and highest quality systems on the market today.
