REFLECTIONS PROFESSIONAL COSMETICS

I am a makeup artist with my own cutting edge line of makeup. In 1978 I started my own business seling cosmetics. I picked and chose products I loved from many different companies. I didn't plan to go into the cosmetics business business. it fell into my lap from friends wanting me to teach them how to apply their makeup. I decided to take a year off and take makeup lessons with a famous artist I had met. He was doing the models for the covers of Vogue etc. Makeup became my passipn.
In 1986, I joined with Rabbi A. Blumenkrantz A'H to make the first line ever of makeup for the Sabbath Many orthodox Jewish women were concerned about wearing makeup on the Sabbath. Besides makeup for weddings and all occassions, I teach makeup for women who want to become makeup artists. I also teach teenagers how to get started with makeup.
I recently hooked up with Reggie Wells, Oprah Winfrey's makeup artist for 21 years. We are contemplating hosting a radio show together. I have had my own radio show years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it.
For the past 26 years, I write a beauty column for The Jewish Press and Image magazine.
