Introduction
If you are a Limited Company who does anything ‘outside of the box’ or you employ or outsource programmers, then this little known tax break from HMRC could pay you back up to 33% of your eligible costs.
Research and development (R&D) tax credits are a government incentive designed to reward UK companies for investing in innovation.
• It doesn’t matter what size company you are.
• It doesn’t matter what industry your company is in (it’s not only for tech or pharmaceutical companies).
• It doesn’t matter whether you are creating new products or services, or just modifying existing ones.
• It doesn’t matter if you’ve tried and failed!
• It doesn’t matter whether your company is in profit or not.
• It doesn’t matter how much you’ve spent on eligible R&D.
• It doesn’t matter whether you employ people directly or outsource.
The reason why this tax break is relatively unknown is because it is a complex and time-intensive process to apply for it!
However, we have mastered this process so that all we need to get enough information to apply for this very generous tax break is access to your accounts (or accountant), and one hour of your time. We can even apply for the previous two tax years, too.
And... because we believe that we should only benefit if you do, we work on a ‘No Win, No Fee’ basis. We only get paid when your tax rebate is paid!
