Award winning chef Gerry and his wife Sylvia, a successful caterer, left the snow and cold of Toronto, Canada where they were the proprietors of the landmark fine dining Italian restaurant Trattoria Via Veneto. They relocated to warm and sunny Carlsbad where they opened Prontos' Gourmet Market. The market is filled with the highest quality foods and wines Gerry and Sylvia love.
