Introduction
Point One Clinic is a Physiotherapy practice in Edinburgh to help people with chronic neck/back pain, sports injuries, headache, fatigue, and stiff neck. We also help people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Guillain-Barre Syndrome and stress.
The Principle Behind the Approach:
We recognize pain and tension around the cervical (neck), shoulders, and lumbar (low back) on clients with various physical symptoms. The pain and tension may be subtle and often hidden, only to be revealed through palpation, or gradually revealed over the course of treatment.
There is a positive co-relationship between this pain/ tension and many physical symptoms. That is to say, the location and severity of pain/ tension in the shoulders/ spine correspond to many physical symptoms.
Therefore, our treatment goal is to help the body let go of the pain and tension so that the symptoms improve.
