Introduction
Pod Jewellery is designed and handcrafted by Victorian silversmith Bec de Podolinsky. Located just outside Kyneton, her studio sits high up on an escarpment overlooking Mount Macedon and Hanging Rock. The ever-changing view provides constant inspiration.
Bec applies the ‘less is more’ philosophy to produce her minimalist designs. She creates simple contemporary pieces of jewellery and silverware using a 305kg vintage flypress, antique guillotine, and a range of hammers and silversmithing tools.
Working with gold, silver, copper and brass, she adds enamel paint and natural materials such as merino wool felt to produce unique colourful pieces. Pod Jewellery is understated and aims to complement, rather than dominate an outfit. Her high quality pieces are wardrobe classics that can be worn year-after-year.
