Introduction
Plaza Comunitaria Sinaloa, Inc. is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide literacy for Spanish speaking adults, and to provide much needed educational programs for adults in the Latino community. An education enriches lives, breaks through barriers imposed by society, and gives an individual an incredible sense of satisfaction and pride which improves self-esteem.
OUR OBJECTIVE:
To encourage, promote, and provide adult literacy and other educational programs to help the community. Our objective is to improve literacy skills (from basic elementary grammar and reading comprehension) to high school level or GED (general education certification). We are also excited about our other courses which consist of computer training, ESL, GED, Citizenship, Domestic Violence Awareness, Mental Health and Well-Being workshops.
