Check your insurance coverage! I didn’t realize that visits with a registered dietitian were covered by my insurance. I had a few visits with Maxine at Athlete’s Care and was so happy to find out that my insurance covered the cost.

So glad to see that Athlete’s Care has expanded throughout the GTA. I’ve been to a few of their locations for different injuries and I can always count on their therapy team to get me better. Friendly service, clean facilities, effective treatment.

On the recommendation of a friend I saw one of their sports doctors, Dr. Woollam, after hurting my knee playing soccer. He was very easy going, thoroughly explained my injury to me and referred me on to an orthopedic surgeon for a torn ACL Turned out that the surgeon, Dr. Tran, was in the same clinic along with the physiotherapist, massage therapist and even a bracing specialist, it was so convenient to have them all at the same place. They all had access to my chart and were able to work together to provide me with the best treatment. After a few months of rehab, I’m finally ready to go back! Thanks!
