Performance Tool Steels is a British manufacturer and stockist of AISI O1 (W1.2510) and AISI D2 (W1.2379) gauge plate and ground flat stock. We have a worldwide reputation for quality and precision. We only use steel sourced from our partner mills within the EU community.
We stock and manufacture a full range of metric and imperial gauge plate and ground flat stock in many different dimensions. We also manufacture non standard and special dimensions in various different grades of tool steel, high speed steels or powder metallurgy products.
In addition to the manufacture of gauge plate and ground flat stock we also are specialists in the precision leveling of metal parts to high tolerances. It also can remove the need for heat treating as the leveled product is almost stress free. This application is useful for flame parts, laser cut parts and punched parts as an example.
