Perennial Virant opens in May 2011. Chef Virant was nominated for Best Chefs Great Lakes at the James Beard Awards in 2011, was named Food and Wine's Best New Chefs 2007, and has appeared on Iron Chef. Perennial originally opened in 2008 and received 3 stars in the Chicago Tribune and was named 50 Best Restaurants in America by Travel and Leisure.
